FASTING
and
ABSTINENCE
ASH WEDNESDAY AND GOOD FRIDAY are obligatory days of universal fast and abstinence.
FASTING is obligatory for all who have completed their 18th year and have not yet reached their 60th year. Fasting allows a person to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal.
ABSTINENCE (from meat) is obligatory for all who have reached their 14th year. Ash Wednesday and the Fridays of Lent, including Good Friday, are obligatory days of abstinence from meat.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In the event of Carroll County School closing due to inclement weather, our 8:00 a.m. weekday morning Mass will be cancelled, the Parish Office will be closed, and all parish events will be cancelled.
In the event of a 1-hour school delay, the 8:00 a.m. weekday Mass is cancelled, with the Parish Office office opening on time.
With a 2-hour school delay, the 8:00 a.m. weekday Mass is cancelled, and the Parish Office will open at 10:00 a.m.
WEEKEND MASSES will be determined by the Pastor or by an announcement from the Archbishop. An announcement will be made through our parish website and Facebook.
